This is a parody of Indiana Jones in which
we finally succeeded in drifting away from the original movie. Moreover
this is our first video that I think is quite funny from the beginning
to the very end. I mean, we tried hard finding jokes and mixing funny
dialogues between our two main caracters: Kentucky the raider
and Manouel his yellow-bellied local carrier. Basically, these
guys seek an old mexican relic.
We wanted to create fake smoke for
some takes and we've almost succeeded by putting water and glycerin
together and then boiling the whole. After roughly 10 minutes smoke
appeared so we were able to shoot with a kind of fog. For the first time
we used fake blood as well (tenderhearted souls must forbear). Indeed
maybe one of the scenes will remind you Peter Jackson first movies :)
This video won the audience award at the Miaou Festival 2006 (Oct. 21st),
which took place in Champagnole.
Our first parody of western shot in 2005 tends to be one of our best videos and perhaps the funniest one according to our friends and fans. That's why we decided to push a step further taking much care over the shots and the appearances in this second opus which is not strictly speaking a sequel. I'm no longer playing Charles Branson's character as we moved away from the original script but we did embezzle the dialogues one more time. Again we had great fun especially concerning the clothes that I personaly find better than the first time. If you like the sound of guns and the duels then you'd better glance at this one!
The very beginning of this year was a very prolific one. After the fake commercial we had other ideas so we decided to shoot again. This one starts with a reportage about the Red Deer in Sweden right before degenerating into a confrontation between 2 strange characters. Both of them have various techniques to threat the opponent. Whereas the first one could be dubbed 'The Flying Fist', the second one has nothing to learn from Bruce Lee. Pay heed to the ubiquitous off- screen voices, they rule! :) You'll even see a special guest as well!

What happens when you are stucked during 3 weeks in your parents' place with nothing else to do but counting your frozen toes cause the outside temperature reaches -19 degrees celsius... well shooting a video of course! This one is a kind of commercial for the F.F.G.D.. You'll see how good are the techniques to enter a car in my city. It took us 1 afternoon to shoot and several more hours on the computer to finish it. Be ready, it's fast :)
