About Me /Full Version/

Well I'm a 27 years old French guy, originally from Champagnole which is located ('lost' would be more appropriate) in the East part of France. Never heard of it ?... you're probably part of the 6 billions people on Earth in this case...
I got my master degree in Management in 2006 at the Clermont Ferrand Business School and currently work as a financial controller in France (Paris) for a company in the chemical industry. Almost 2 years and I still have fun everyday at work. (that is a good news!)
I decided to build this website solely in english 'cause firstly more people can understand what I'm saying (well it's a fact more people speak English than French) and then I think it's a good way to practise this language and improve it by this way. Consequently I speak English (still some stuff to learn indeed) and obviously French. I learnt German during almost 12 years as well but I did forget almost everything... I just suck at learning languages! But, well, despite this fact and since June 08, I decided to start Japanese...what a story... 日本語は むずかし です。 (^^)v
Let's talk about music now. When I was younger, I used to listen to punk-rock music with bands like Lagwagon or NOFX (I've seen the latter on stage). Nowadays I slightly changed my mind to metal music with bands like Blind Guardian, Angra, Sonata Arctica, Therion, Finntroll (I've seen them all on stage as well) just to name a few. For information, the frame on the right displays my top 10 artists overall.
Except that, I'm freshly converted to the Unix world as I installed the Fedora Core 2 distro on my Toshiba's laptop in the late 2004. I started like most newbies under Gnome and then quickly found that I needed something else lighter and that's why I moved to WindowMaker. Then as I discovered the stunning Enlightenment and its great power and design, I shifted from WM to E16 first and quickly to E17 afterwards (early 2006). (And I must say that even under heavy development, E17 rocks!) After almost a year running under Linux I've barely discovered the usefulness and the power of VIM :P (God, I need more free time in my timetable). I've recently setup the home workstation with Fedora Core 5 and moved my laptop to Debian. I also took part in the French translation of 2 different projects: MPlayer (the ultimate movie player) and Bygfoot (a football management game).
What else? Since 1998 I belong to a band made of French crazy guys called Neopulsar. Originally we used to play video games on our LAN all the weekend long and sometimes to shoot very short videos but in 2003 we definitively turned a corner and concentrated only on artistic entertainments and mainly parodic videos. At the moment, we develop a project known as F.F.D.G. (standing for Federation Francaise de la Grosse Deconne which means French Federation of Bull Shit or something like that) which could be the philosophy of how to live your life without any constraint.
I shall finish with a quote of one of my favorite writer/philosopher: "Life is like a play: it is not the length, but the excellence of the acting that matters." (Lucius Annaeus Seneca)
